Founded in 1983 by local running enthusiasts who wanted to share the beauty of the Grand Traverse Region and the Old Mission Peninsula, the Bayshore Marathon has become a “must run” for runners throughout the Midwest and beyond. Many runners return year after year to enjoy the scenic courses which run along the shores of beautiful Grand Traverse Bay. Bayshore events feature a 10K, half marathon and full marathon. To ensure a more enjoyable experience, the number of runners in all three races is limited. Bayshore races are held on Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend.

The Utah Valley Marathon is arguably the fastest June Marathon in the country. Of all spring marathons this course offers the most unique and diverse scenery. Both the Utah Valley marathon and half marathon are USATF certified, and the marathon course is a Boston Marathon qualifier. The half marathon sells out fast, so make sure to look into this Utah Half Marathon that finishes in the heart of downtown Provo. We are looking forward to the 2022 Races. At this point, we are making plans to have all four races (marathon, half-marathon, 10k, and 5k) on Friday, July 23rd. This will be a special year, focused on overcoming challenges and returning to normal activity and gathering as a community of runners. We will be publishing information in the next few months as COVID protocols and restrictions change and develop.
First run in 1970, the Deseret News Marathon is the oldest road race in Utah and the 4th oldest marathon west of the continental divide. The marathon follows the path the Utah pioneers traveled when they first entered the valley. This event is truly a part of Utah’s heritage!

The East Canyon Marathon has four distances. Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K.
The Full Marathon starts overlooking Salt Lake City at the Big Mountain Pass at the top of Emigration Canyon and heads East. This course follows along pine trees, aspens and follows several miles along the East Canyon Reservoir. The Full joins Half Marathon about 3/4 around East Canyon Reservoir where the Half Marathons starts and then heads down Red Rock Canyon which has great views and landscapes and unique rock formations. Around Mile 20 of the race the course turns into farmland with beautiful fields of grain and cool barns. The 10K and 5K are out and back courses that start where all distances finish at the Morgan County Fairgrounds.

This will be a wave start race. Waves of 10 people will start every 30 seconds. There will be 10 rows of cones with 10 cones per row spaced 10 feet apart. You will self assign your wave on race day by selecting the wave and standing next to a cone. The announcer will start each wave. We ask that people social distance at least 10 feet while in the park and wait until 10 minutes prior to the start before selecting a wave. Your time will not start until you cross the start line. As you make your way from the wave to the start, please continue to social distance by 10 feet.

Here is some helpful information and important notes to understand about this year’s race. Registration and Race Day - This race will be much small than year’s past - capped at 1000 participants across the 4 events. - There will be staggered starts every 10 - 15 minutes, until all participants have gone through the start line. - All participants will be required to wear face coverings when social distancing is not possible, this means start, finish, aid stations, and any area along the course where runners are closer than 6 feet from each other. - The post- race will be minimal to avoid crowding.
This sought-after course has nothing to envy to other events. From Daniel Johnson Park, turn left on Leclerc Boulevard to continue left on Saint-André. You will continue your race on Dufferin Street, Crowie Street and Saint-Charles Street before following Lake Boivin. You will continue on Estriade and you will embark on the La Granbyenne bike path to finally reach Drummond at the corner of Vanier. On the course, there will be six water stations and toilets.

The races take place on the Bob Trail at Trap Pond State Park in Laurel, DE. The Trap Pond State Park is located at 33587 Baldcypress Lane, Laurel, DE 19956. The races start on the trail from different locations (please see race start locations on the map in the Parking section below) near the Bald Cypress Nature Center. All four races finish at the same location also near the Nature Center.

The Arkansas Marathon is one of the oldest and most unique marathons in the South. The race is not crowded, parking is easy, and the scenery is great! Celebrate Halloween early at the Pumpkinman 10K and 5K Run in Boulder City! Wear a costume (or not) and race the streets of Boulder City with your favorite race company. The run course will be fully supported, with aid stations, volunteers and on-course restrooms.
The half marathon runs a short segment on the C&O Canal after leaving West Virginia across the Potomac. You then join the marathon course and run the hills of Antietam. After the Antietam tour you run through historic Sharpsburg to return over the Rumsey Bridge to Shepherdstown.

The Cleveland Marathon began in 1978 in an effort to bring a positive and meaningful fitness event to the City of Cleveland.
