A special attraction of the Gornergrat Zermatt Marathon is the moving grandstand: An extra train of the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn, which runs parallel to the marathon from St. Niklaus to Zermatt! From the train, the runners can be accompanied and the racing atmosphere can be experienced up close.
