Known as Tennessee’s Oldest Marathon, the Andrew Jackson Marathon starts and finishes in historical downtown Jackson. The course takes runners through the renovated downtown area, beside the University of Memphis Lambuth Campus Arboretum, along tree-lined residential neighborhoods and around the medical center area with challenging hills and great new landscapes. The course offers a half marathon single loop (13.1 miles) and a full marathon double loop (26.2 miles), which makes for an awesome Boston Marathon Qualifier.
