50 Kilometer and Marathon (~26.7 Mile) loop in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. The course follows the “Alpine Loop” jeep roads past the ghost mining towns of Howardsville, Eureka, Animas Forks and Gladstone. High point is California Pass at 12,930 feet! The 8 mile is back!! We loved having so many folks participate in our 8 mile out and back race that took you to Howardsville for a taste of the Alpine Loop.
Online Registration for the 2023 event closes on Monday, July 6th at Midnight.
Kendall Mountain Marathon & Half-Marathon is an awesome run. The course follows the Kendall Mountain jeep roads to within a 250-foot scramble to the summit. Ascend from 9,318 feet to 13,066 feet atop Kendall Mountain; Descent follows same course. �gK2�� Double runners will pass through Memorial Park before heading back up for their second trip up the mountain.
