Hey Mountain Junkies! Forever 5 & 10 milers are Saturday! Packet Pick Up and Registration are today Thursday, January 27th at Gilbert Chiropractic from 10-1 and 3-6 *NEW LOCATION* 26 West Main Street, Salem VA. (In between Elderberry’s and Wells Fargo Bank), Friday, January 28th at Fleet Feet Roanoke from 10-6pm. Race Morning, Saturday, January 29th at DayCreek Parking Lot from 7:15 - 8:45am. We are excited for a definite adventure!
Event Description
This race uses part of the Hellgate 100k course (miles 55-60) and is known as the Forever Section. It tough rocky section of the Glenwood Horse Trail that goes between Day Creek Day Use area to Bobblett Gap Road. Both courses will be out and back. The 5 miler will have a volunteer or timing point at the halfway point and the 10 miler will have a timing point at Bobblett Gap Road to verify that you made it all the way to the turnaround.
