Marathon The Pettit Indoor Marathon is limited to 130 participants and is expected to reach its capacity prior to race-day. Runners will need to finish approximately 94.8 laps around the track to complete the marathon. The race will end on the front stretch of the running track. There is a 6-hour time limit. Those who are still on the track after 6 hours are not guaranteed a finish time or finisher’s medal. The course has been USATF-certified.All registrants will receive a specially-designed shirt and a goodie bag. All finishers will receive a Pettit Indoor Marathon finishers medal.

Start at Emma Wood State Beach Group Campground head north onto the bike path. Bike path leads you onto HWY-1 beachfront bike path. All runners will stay on the bike path or shoulder (ocean side) of Highway 1 along the route. turn around at the designated turnaround point at approx 3.1 mile mark and back towards the finish line the same way you came out.

Specatator-Friendly Course Featuring 11 Fluid Stations and 3 Energy Gel Stations
This is a great way to start the new year with a run on a brisk winter morning. The overall top three male and female finishers in each race, the overall top three male and female masters in each race, the top active duty military male and female in the marathon and the top three finishers in age categories will receive an award. Six-person relay teams may also enter the Marathon.
All participants receive a colorful shirt. Those who register by January 30 will receive their shirt on race day. All Runners will receive a finisher’s medal. Disposable electronic chip timing will be used for all races. This year there will be rolling starts beginning at 7:50 a.m. Starting times may vary for each race.
All participants can enjoy post race food and drinks (beer for 21+) at Stahlman Park Pavilion after finishing. You can purchase non-participating family and friends meal tickets during the registration process, at packet pickup or on race day with cash or check.

The Mesa Marathon has a beautiful race course that begins below the large white Phoenix sign painted on Usery Mountain. Marathon runners will experience nearly 1,000 feet of net elevation loss in this fast Boston Qualifier. The race has thousands of parking spots available around the finish at a large shopping center in Mesa. Marathon runners will enjoy the diverse scenery from cactus desert to spectacular views of the Phoenix Valley from N. Usery Pass Rd.
Experience the Big Easy first hand as you run through the French Quarter, along Esplanade Ave, Jackson Square, and City Park, all awhile running and next to the same floats seen at the world famous Mardi Gras festival.
All races will start together at 7:30 a.m. Eastern Time. There is a 6-hour cutoff for both races. However, all half marathoners must maintain a 15 minute per mile average. All full marathoners and relay runners must maintain a pace of 13:44 per mile or faster.
Runners who cannot make the needed time checkpoints at every mile are encouraged to stop as there will not be traffic control, water tables, or a finish time provided to those participants. While they will not be forced to stop, any runners who continue must do so unsupported on the sidewalk and not in the road. Unsupported means that police will not be available to stop traffic at intersections and runners will be responsible for their own safety.

COURSE Yes, we already talked about that. NO, the course won’t be free of snow unless Mother Nature (or some other mother…) deems it so. If it’s really bad we’ll actually groom it so that it’s not as bad as it was in 2014 just to keep people from jumping all over Marathon Don’s back. In case of REALLY SEVERE conditions, we have a certified alternate route that’s 12 loops instead of 6, but our timing guys really hope we don’t have to use it.

Don’t you love a course with words like “cliff” and “leap” We do. Emmons is highlighted by rolling parkland filled with cedars and oaks. The funny thing is, when we searched for photos online of Emmon’s, we mainly found EMS rescues. Hmmmm…..

The historic Clubhouse sits atop a bluff above the Brazos River. With white columns, reception rooms, outdoor decks and sitting areas (again, not an excuse to rest), the Clubhouse is ideal for weddings and events. Just not resting. Move on to the finish line.

Climbing this bizarre, one-of-a-kind staircase is one of the park’s most beloved challenges.

For the ninth year in a row, Savage Racing will be hosting the 12th Savage Seven Challenge in Ocala, Florida! It is the perfect way to finish off the year with 7 Marathons, Half Marathons or 50K race. For the 2021-2022 Challenge, we will start the SEVEN day challenge on December 27, 2021 and end on January 2, 2022. About The RaceRun for the Ranch began in 1999 as a fund raiser for the Good Samaritan Boys Ranch, Ozark Mountain Ridge Runners, and other local charities. The Honolulu Marathon starts on Ala Moana Boulevard, which in Hawaiian means “path by the ocean.” This phrase is an appropriate description for the entire race course. At the Starting Line is Ala Moana Beach Park, a local recreation area encompassing over 100 acres of park, beaches, swimming and surfing spots.
Course:The course goes through downtown Honolulu, past Iolani Palace and the Christmas lights, through Waikiki and climbs up and around Diamond Head, before heading out through Kahala and out to Hawaii Kai. Turning back after Hawaii Kai toward Kahala and Honolulu, the course passes Diamond Head again on the ocean side before finishing in Kapiolani Park.
The Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon weekend is a multi-race event, offering four different distances. Welcome to the 2020-2021 Topo Trail Running Series. This is a no frills trail run race series with the goal of getting you out on the trails in the winter months. Each race location will have a one (4 to 6 miles) and two (8 to 12 miles) loop courses. In today’s environment, we are limited on the races we can offer. As race venues allow races to occur, they will be added to the schedule. The races will be timed and have COVID protocols in place.

1/2 MARATHON COURSE DESCRIPTIONThe Wildwood Trail 1/2 Marathon starts on the asphalt Hamilton-Carr Trail which takes runners to the chat surfaced Al Foster Memorial Trail. The Al Foster Memorial Trail will take marathoners to the Rock Hollow Connector, where they will spend a number of gorgeous miles running Rock Hollow West and East Trails (running the entire length of Rock Hollow Trail). Racers will then leave the Rock Hollow Trail and run the entire length of the Al Foster Memorial Trail to the Sherman Beach Trailhead. Upon checking in with the aid station at Sherman Beach, competitors will travel on the Al Foster Memorial Trail and Hamilton-Carr Trail to the finish of the 1/2 Marathon at LaS
Run a Half or 10K below sea level in one of America’s most unique and special National Park. Both routes are out-and-back on Highway 190 and Mustard Canyon Road. Mustard Canyon is mostly unpaved and will be closed to traffic for at least 3 hours during the race.
The half marathon starts in the same location and at the same time as the full and 10K on B.B. King Blvd. between Beale St. and FedEx Forum. The route marries the marathon and 10K courses through Downtown Memphis and up 2nd Street to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital campus to greet patients and their families, before heading south on Front St. through the bustling South Main District. Runners will then head east to Danny Thomas Blvd. and north to picturesque North Parkway. The half route splits off on N. Avalon St. to head south through Evergreen neighborhood’s Stonewall St. whose residents fully embrace the celebration of race day year after year. This challenging race features a Boston Qualifying Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K. The Full and Half Race starts in Lenoir City, TN and ends in Loudon, TN. Runners will experience grand views of countryside, rivers as they cross bridges, and hometown hospitality. This race is not for the faint of heart. Rolling hills are the mainstay. If you don’t think you are up for Widow Maker Hill at Mile 22 - well, there’s no shame in admitting that you just ain’t got it. So Ladies and Gentlemen - it’s time to feel the LoCo!!!
The Marathon course, which is primarily downhill, does have sections of rolling hills (from miles 2-4, 10-12 and 24-25) so please be prepared! The Marathon and Marathon Relay events start at 7am and the course closes at 1:30 p.m.
Enjoy beautiful Tucson winter weather with temperatures at the start that average in the high 30s and reaching 65-70 degrees Fahrenheit by 11 a.m. The Old West historical town of Oracle marks the starting line of this is primarily a downhill marathon. with some hills around mile 2-4, and mile 11-12 and mile 24.
The full marathon course will change slightly for 2021. Instead of running on the road near the Ferry Terminal in Lewes, we are being required to move to the paved trail next to the road. We will turn around somewhere along that trail. There will a few other small changes. The map and exact course details will not be updated until we know that the 2021 race is definitely happening.

The Boston Marathon qualifying USATF certified course (13.1 mile loop) starts at the Bowling Green Ball Park and runs through historic downtown Bowling Green, Kentucky and the beautiful WKU campus. (Marathoners will run the course twice.) Runners will finish at the Bowling Green Ball Park. There will be a 6 hour time limit on the race. After 6 hours, participants must move to the sidewalks or extreme right side of the road. There will be cyclists on the course to assist runners when needed.

The course is flat and fast and USATF certified. It is a perfect course to run to qualify for Boston. Runners start on 3rd Avenue next to Joan C. Edward Stadium and run through downtown Huntington past Pullman Square, next to the Ohio River, and through Ritter Park among other places. The highlight is to run through Marshall University campus on their way to a goal-line finish in Marshall Football Stadium.
Starting and finishing in Lithia Park the course circumnavigates the Ashland watershed accumulating 7,200 feet of elevation change on dirt roads and trails with approximately 2 miles of asphalt.
The CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon course is relatively flat and fast with a few small hills. It is a wonderful course that highlights many beautiful buildings and monuments in downtown Indianapolis and several of our neighborhoods. Some of those highlights include: the Indiana State Capitol, Arts Garden, Lucas Oil Stadium, Circle Center Mall, Warehouse District, Eli Lilly campus, Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Monument Circle, Federal buildings / monuments, Cultural Trail, Mass Ave District, Pennsylvania Avenue through Fall Creek Place, Meridian Street, Washington Boulevard through Meridian-Kessler, Butler University, the Indianapolis Museum of Art, Broad Ripple, State Fairgrounds and Fall Creek Parkway among others.
The Full Marathon course is 2 laps beginning and ending at Panther Island Pavilion heading southwest along the Trinity Trails to Acme Brick. The 20-mile race has the same first loop and a shortened second loop with a turnaround at the Woodshed. The Half-Marathon is just the first lap of the Marathon course.

The Cape Cod Marathon began in 1978, run for first 6 years at Otis AFB, and since then, on a scenic one-loop certified course in Falmouth. This year marks the 43rd running and is hosted by the Falmouth Track Club.
The 9th annual Northern Ohio Marathon will consist of Lake County’s first and only marathon, along with a Half Marathon & 5-Person Relay. The marathon and half marathon will utilize the Mentor Senior Center parking lot as the races starting and finish points. They will wind through northern Mentor, along Lake Erie and back. The new COVID approved route is a double loop course for marathoners.

Waiting at the Stinson Beach start line will be the only time you spend at sea level during this challenging trail run. From the word “Go” you’ll be heading, up, up and away into the thick wooded trails of Muir Woods. You’ll follow the legendary Dipsea trail to Steep Ravine, where you’ll climb a wooden ladder, march up natural rock and wooden staircases and scramble under tree trunks.
Along the way, enjoy the sounds of babbling brooks and waterfalls. Drink in the fresh smell of the towering redwoods and oaks that surround you. Your summit will be rewarded with panoramic vistas as you begin your descent back into Stinson Beach.
From 2004-2010, this race was run as The Shoreline Sharks Half Marathon. The race was renamed in 2011, honoring the great venue that we have. Since 2011 this race is open to ALL! This is just too good to keep to ourselves! Most roads will be closed (Police at intersections) and The Savin Rock Conference Center is open for registration, bathrooms and awards.

Our marathon course offers international appeal, traversing both downtown Detroit and Windsor, Ontario, crossing the border at both the Ambassador Bridge and Detroit-Windsor Tunnel. You will run through historic neighborhoods, around beautiful Belle Isle, and along the spectacular RiverWalk.
The full marathon will give runners a tour of downtown Grand Rapids and then head out of the city and into the beautiful trails of Millennium Park to show just how great Michigan is in the fall.
The Course: The certified marathon and half-marathon begin and end near the house where Clarence H. DeMar, seven-time Boston Marathon Winner, once lived. The half-marathon course is out and back on the west shore of South Hero and Grand Isle; a land of farms, apple orchards, and summer cottages. The terrain is flat to rolling and about 75% dirt road (hard packed and well maintained).
NEW IN 2021: The full marathon course is two laps of the half-marathon course. This helps us improve our logistics and provide a better experience for our racers.
The 7 Bridges Marathon starts at Coolidge Park near the Big Blue Rhino (and the Chattanooga Theatre) on Tremont Avenue. The new course crosses the 4 bridges downtown and 3 “upgraded” bridges on the North Chick Greenway. The course is road, concrete, and asphalt. Aid stations and bathroom facilities are available almost every mile.

There is an 7-hour course limit. This means that you must be able to maintain an average pace of 16-minutes per mile.
The course and finish line will close at 3:00PM for all events.

Welcome to year 11 of the DPR Trail
Half-Marathon, Marathon and 50 Mile Ultra Marathon along the beautiful and fast Des Plaines River Trail in Lake County, Illinois. This is a truly special running course. The DPR Trail is a wide, crushed gravel track, free of roots and rocks, and very flat. All of the major road crossings are managed by way of bridges or viaducts (with only 4 minor road crossings along the whole 50 Mile course, 2 on the Marathon course, and none for the Half-Marathon course). This is a great track through alternating lush forests and open wetlands. With cool temperatures expected, and given the flat terrain and ideal running surface, you’ll find these to be extremely fast courses. The Marathon is a Boston Qualifier! The Steamtown Marathon is a USATF-certified event and is an official Boston Marathon qualifier. The course features a net elevation drop of 955′. The point-to-point course runs through 14 communities and includes approximately 4.2 miles of paved rails-to-trails along the Lackawanna River. There are 14 official stations and several port-a-lav stations on the course.
Since its inception, the Towpath Marathon has grown to become one of Northeast Ohio’s premier marathons, attracting an average of 1,200 participants and 3,500 spectators from more than twenty-seven states for a weekend of outdoor festivities and athletic competition.
Both the marathon and half marathon will start at 8:00AM. This event takes place in its entirety in Pennsylvania on the outstanding Great Allegheny Passage (GAP). Highlights of the scenic course include the crossings of the 1908 feet long Salisbury Viaduct over the Casselman River, and the Meyersdale Western Maryland Railroad Station.

If you are getting fed up with running all the big races with over 10,000 runners come and run this one. The course is quite hard as it is at altitude and hilly. The year I raced there were 99 people on the start line. We got a motel that was less than 200 yards from the start line.
The course is absolutely stunning, there were not many spectators but the few that were out there were pretty enthusiastic. The organizers did a great job, there were water stations without fail every 2 miles. Everybody received a race medal that was hand-decorated by the local school children, and at the award ceremony there were numerous spot prizes as well as local art products given to age group placers.
I hope to come back and run this race soon.

New course in 2021! The Eversource Hartford Marathon showcases the revitalized riverfronts of Hartford and East Hartford with breathtaking views of the Connecticut River and classic New England charm of Old Main Street, South Windsor.
This fast and flat course takes you off of the island of Key West, through Stock Island, and up to US 1 for a turnaround. Once back on the island the Gulf of Mexico greets you to help you finish your race. There is a 6 hour time limit for the marathon.

We’re opening registration for the 2021 Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend on April 8. The marathon will run from downtown Minneapolis to the State Capitol grounds in St. Paul on Sunday, October 3, and running events for runners of all ages and pace will take place across the weekend.
A one of a kind race, in the State of West Virginia: A point-to-point full marathon (26.2 miles) on a flat/slightly downhill (1% grade) course and the official inaugural half-marathon (13.1 miles - out-and-back course) on the scenic Greenbrier River Trail (GRT) in Pocahontas County, WV. The Marathon starts in Cass Scenic Railroad State Park and runs south on the trail, finishing at Stillwell Park, in Marlinton, WV. USATF-certified Course! Whereas, the Half Marathon (not-certified) will start and finish at Stillwell Park in Marlinton.
The Run Crazy Horse Marathon events begin in the shadow of the world’s largest mountain carving, Crazy Horse Memorial, and finishes in the heart of the Black Hills… Hill City, South Dakota.
The Run Crazy Horse Half Marathon is a point to point course, beginning at the Visitor’s Center at Crazy Horse Memorial. The first 3 miles are within the Memorial Grounds on both paved and gravel roads. Participants will pass by the old schoolhouse and loop out to the bus turnaround at the base of the Crazy Horse Carving. At mile 3, the course becomes the Mickelson Trail. For the Half Marathoners, he last 10 miles are a mixture of downhill and flat terrain. Half Marathoners will finish on Main Street in Hill City in front of the Bumpin’ Buffalo bar and grill.
As the name of our race indicates, the route follows an abandoned railroad line that runs from Elroy to Sparta (and beyond) that has since been turned into the Elroy-Sparta bike trail. But this race won’t stretch that full distance.
Instead, the starting and finishing point are one and the same location in the Village park located at 104 Mill Street Norwalk. So naturally the race is an out and back but everything is clearly marked and volunteers will be at the turn around point. There will also be aid stations along the way.
The route also includes a tunnel. This tunnel is also a hibernation spot for four different species of bats. Because of this, flashlights are not permitted at the time of the race. However, the tunnel will be lit by red lant
The race is a double out-and-back covering a distance of 26.4 mi. The course is simply a 13-mi-long, northern section of the Nipmuck Trail, which is one of the Blue-Blazed trails managed by the Connecticut Forest and Park Association. The start line, and middle point, is located at Perry Hill Rd in Ashford. The course runs south for 6.2 mi until reaching Rt 44, then back to the start, then north for 7 mi until reaching Boston Hollow Rd, and finally back to the finish/start line at Perry Hill Rd.
Founded in 2015, this locally owned race has become an instant favorite of runners from all across the country!
In 2019, runners from 40 states and 14 countries ran the Hamptons. Runners of the marathon will start together with those running the half marathon and they will finish at the same finish line. Heartland Marathon is a two-lap course that starts on the Riverfront Trail in Omaha, Nebraska and heads south. Relay exchange points are marked on the Marathon map.
Half marathon participants will follow the same course as the full marathon, but will only complete one lap.
The Heartland 10K is an out and back course that starts on the Riverfront Trail in Omaha, Nebraska and crosses the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge. Runners then head northeast along the east bank of the Missouri River to the turnaround.

The Treherne Marathon is a unique race held in south central Manitoba, an hour outside of Winnipeg. This annual event takes place every fall as the leaves are changing colour.
The event features a four different races: a 5K, a 10K, the half marathon, and the full marathon. The race starts in town and soon takes you out on country roads south of town through the rolling hills. The track is measured and the full course is an official qualifier for the Boston marathon.

RACE DAY INFORMATION:
The Jackson Hole Marathon course starts near Jackson Town Square’s famous elk antler arches. The first four miles take you past the beautiful views of the National Elk Refuge, through the neighborhoods of east Jackson, and along the base of Snow King Mountain before you separate from the road and hop on the pedestrians-only pathway network and head out of town limits.
For the next nine miles, you’ll be heading around South Park Loop, and enjoying majestic views of the Jackson Hole Valley, the Tetons, and probably at least a couple of horses.
At about mile 14, you’ll be turning west on the pathway along Highway 22. As you near mile 17, you’re in for a treat as you cross the Snake River and enjoy some of the best views of the day (selfie time!).
The entire event is sanctioned with USA Track and Field, the national governing body of track, field and running events. The marathon and 1/2 marathon courses are measured and certified with USA Track and Field. The marathon course is a qualifying event for the Boston and New York City Marathons. The 1/2 marathon is also a qualifying course for the New York City Marathon, at a slightly faster pace, naturally. While all family members are encouraged to participate, we ask that you keep your “furry” family members home. While we certainly have and love our own pets, pets will NOT be allowed on the course.

What are The Games?
The Hungerford Games are a set of trail runs through the Manistee National Forest near Big Rapids, Michigan. They consist of a half marathon, marathon, and 50-mile ultramarathon. Finishers will receive the world’s only hand-branded wooden finisher’s medal.
When and Where?
In 2021, The Games will take place on Saturday, September 25th. The ultramarathon will begin at sunrise (7:34 a.m.). The half marathon will begin at 8:20, and the marathon at 9:10. For each race, runners will begin their journey at PT Plus in Big Rapids.

Staged on “The Avenue of the Giants” in Humboldt Redwoods State Park, located in rural Northern California, the paved course winds through giant old growth redwoods and follows Bull Creek in one direction and the Eel River in the other.

Starting and ending in historic downtown St Charles, IL, the course winds through picturesque Geneva, Batavia, North Aurora, and Aurora to a spectacular finish across the Fox River that can be seen from over a mile away. The course offers fantastic viewing spots for families and supporters, as well as frequent and well positioned aid stations that are staffed by the most supportive volunteer teams of any race you’ve run.

Marathoners and Half Marathoners: You start by completing a partial loop. Every loop after that will be a full loop measuring 2.2508 km long.
For a certified Half-Marathon time, complete the partial plus 9 full loops. The timing system will show 10 laps when you are done.

The Air Force Half Marathon course is as challenging as it is rewarding! Beginning at the National Museum of the United States of the Air Force, the course heads uphill right from the start before dropping down into the Historic Huffman Flying Field in the third mile. You then make a flat loop through the golf course and then head onto the 844 freeway exiting immediately via an offramp into Wright State University. Moving through the athletic facilities, you then make your way onto Kauffman Avenue which is a quiet road with gentle rolling hills. Now, at mile 8, the course heads up a stout hill back into Area B of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base before a long slight descent.

Commencing at an elevation of roughly 4500 feet, runners will experience high desert vegetation to include Joshua Trees, Pinion-Juniper, Mountain Rose, Sagebrush, and a relatively lush Toiyabe National Forest not commonly associated with Las Vegas. The road twists and turns thru the canyon; a true treasure of the Spring Mountains N.R.A. enjoying temperatures ~10 degrees cooler than the Las Vegas Valley, under the late summer nighttime sky.

Welcome to the Equinox Marathon and Relay site! The Equinox Marathon is the premier running event in Interior Alaska. With most of the course on trails and a challenging climb up and over Ester Dome—and up and over it again!—it is a challenging marathon that will test your running abilities. But don’t worry if it seems too overwhelming! Our generous 10 hour time cutoff is great for walkers who can keep a steady pace, and you can do just a third of the course by joining a relay team.

About the race
Holland Haven Marathon runners experience the beautiful coast of Lake Michigan as they travel from Grand Haven to Holland. This USATF certified, point-to-point marathon follows Lakeshore Drive past the summer cottages right into downtown Holland. The early September weekend allows for mild weather and a final opportunity to qualify for the Boston Marathon. Boston qualifying hopefuls can make the cut only one day before registration opens.
Location – Everything happens at the Erie Runners Club Beach 1 Pavilion on Presque Isle State Park. This location will be the start and finish for the marathon. All race participants must park at Waldameer or the Ridge Center and walk down the hill.
It doesn’t get much flatter with less than a 250 foot total change in elevation for the marathon. The running surface is mostly asphalt but there is still about a third that is concrete. However, most of the course offers a grass surface along the paved surface should you choose to run there. There is a considerable amount of shade and sun on the course so it just depends upon if your glass is half full or half empty. This is an all volunteer run race with a cap of 2000. W

Superior DomeFor 2021, the Superior Dome will host our EXPO and finish lines for all of our races.
The Superior Dome, which opened as the “world’s largest wooden dome” on September 14, 1991, is a domed stadium on the campus of Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan. It is home to the Northern Michigan University football team as well as its marching band and a variety of other campus and community events.

COURSE: The race begins and ends on Main Street between Illinois 159 and First Street in historic downtown Belleville, IL, and for the 2021 race, the course will primarily be held on the St. Clair County Transit District’s paved biking/walking trail. At this time the course has not been certified, and we are exploring that option. The 2021 course is on open trails and roads, and participants must be at mile 13 by 10:23 AM or they will be transported by an official race vehicle to another point on the course and allowed to cross the finish line with an unofficial time and to receive a finisher medal. Medical support will be provided by HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital.
All 3 races begin Saturday @ 7:00 a.m. in front of the pavilion at The Expedition Island. Elevation is 6100’ at start. The first 2 miles are city streets and the paved Greenbelt Trail along the Green River. The course then turns onto The Wild Horse Loop Tour Road, a County graded dirt road. You will begin your run up 1st Springs Canyon, approx. 2 miles. At the head of the canyon the elevation will now be about 7300’. You will then be running across the top of White Mountain on the Wild Horse Loop Tour over rolling hills between 7300 and 7500’. Previous runners described the course as challenging and rewarding.
he marathon course has been certified by USA Track & Field. This makes the 26.2 mile course distance official and enables the event to be used as a qualifier for the Boston Marathon. The Wausau Marathon sends their final results to the Boston Athletic Association office each year, thereby enabling qualified runners to register for the Boston Marathon. No finisher’s certificate, printed results, or course certification number are needed to register for qualified runners.

The course starts and finishes at Goose Lake and consists of two out and backs. The first takes you out toward University Lake via the Chester Creek Trail where you will turn around at the roundabout near the southwest corner of the lake. The race continues back past Goose Lake and down Chester Creek Trail then continues on the Coastal Trail heading toward Kincaid. The second turnaround is 400m past Milepost 8 on the Coastal Trail. From there you run back to the finish at Goose Lake.

This is a small town race with a community of amazing volunteers ready to cheer you on. Running through the canopy and the beauty of the Oil Valley makes for a memorable race. Bib pick-up and orientation takes place on Friday, July 30st from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday, July 31st from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the waxing room at the Mt McIntyre Recreation Centre in Whitehorse. The wax room can be accessed by a set of stairs on the north end of the building.

The Eisenbahn Trail, built on a former railroad corridor, is a 25-mile trail extending from the historic city of West Bend into the scenic countryside of eastern Wisconsin past the glacial landscape of the Kettle Moraine State Forest. Eisenbahn is German for railroad
The trail is surfaced with limestone screenings, however racers will start and finish the event on 1.25 miles of paved asphalt. This is an out and back race on a relatively flat course. Participants will begin and end the race near downtown West Bend, Wisconsin. The Start/Finish Line is located behind the River Shores/Cast Iron residential community at 705 Village Green Way, West Bend. Half marathoners will turn around in Kewaskum, 1/4 marathoners and 5K run/walk participants will turn around north of West Bend.

The marathon, which starts and finishes at the 6th Cavalry museum located near the park’s visitor’s center, features two loops in the Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military Park.
The mostly paved course is challenging but not extraordinarily difficult. Numerous runners have qualified for the Boston Marathon on this course. Results will be provided to the Boston Athletic Association. Approximately 23 miles of the double loop portion of the course winds through the historic military park. Traffic is usually light in the park. Sentries will be posted at each major turn and all turns will be marked. Each mile and the half marathon point will be marked.
